Subtleties Contest Twelfth Night 2009: The Glories of the Midrealm A display/contest will be held featuring the art, science and craft of Subtleties, Spectacles, and Illusion Foods. Documentation appreciated but not required. Entries will be displayed during the day and presented to the populace for judging at the end of feast. Bonus points for celebrating the history and glories of the Midrealm. Populace will have red beans, worth one count. Oaks and Willows shall have blue beans, worth five counts. Laurels shall have green beans, worth ten counts. Each entry will receive three types of vote. There shall be a prize for most points overall, a prize for most authentic, and a prize for “Most Representative of the Glories of the Midrealm”. Tallying shall take place right before feast and winners shall be announced at feast. If desired, edible entries may be presented to Their Majesties and the populace at the last remove of the feast. Cyngabar, Cynnabar's singing group, will be performing at 3:00 and before Court Informal hafla 1:00 to 4:00 - Open drumming and dancing. Bring your drums and zills and play along or dance to live music. 3 - 3:50 -Heraldic Consultations Silent Auction There will be a silent auction to benefit the Royal Travel Fund.
